Buying - Moving Tips - After Moving In

Even though you moved, keep in touch with old friends. Once you have settled in, plan on getting involved with the community, neighbors or other activities that fit your personality. Remember kids are hit the hardest during a move, because they feel cut off from their old friends. Reassure them that they will find new activities and new friends and most important that they will be able to keep in touch with their old friends.

Plan to check in with your neighbors as well, just to let them know you have arrived. Some communities have a welcome committee that will drop off a welcome package.
